Since Mexico was out of the picture we decided to try and do something else fun around here. I searched on line for some great last minute deals and found a listing on KSL for the Westgate Resort in Park City. The price was 2 nights for $24.99. Sounded too good to me. I called the guy and he said it was true. All we had to do was listen to a 90 minute presentation for the time shares. I talked to Dave and he was in. We headed up to Park City and started the weekend out with a intense sales presentation. The guy did a fabulous job and got us very interested in the Time Share. He gave us a tour of the resort and got us really excited to enjoy it…but not to purchase it! After the sales pitch, we stocked up on the free cookies they had available and headed to our room. We relaxed for a bit and then headed out to eat. Dave thought we should have Mexican since that is what we should have been eating in Cancun. We ate at Baja Cantina. The food was excellent! We walked around after and I showed Dave the Alpine slide and the other stuff up there. We decided we’d come back the next day and do the zip line. Before going back to the hotel, we stopped off at 711 for some treats. Dave got a big bag of Skittles and some sour jolly rancher chews (best candy in the world) and I got a reeses fast break. I’ve never had one before, but wo baby I will have one again! So good! When we got back to the hotel we got in our suits and headed for the hot tub. They had an amazing indoor adult pool and spa area. The pool was as warm as a hot tub and the hot tub was smoking hot. We spent 2 hours swimming and hot tubing. It was a lot of fun! The rest of the night was treats and movies. The next day we worked out, swam in the pool and spent all day at the outlet malls. We planned on doing the zip line but the weather wasn’t right for it. We ate later that night at Squatters which was really good! We swam again when we got back and after get in our pj’s and relaxed. It was such a fun weekend and so cheap! 25 bucks for two nights. If you can handle a 90 minute high pressure sales pitch and want to spend the weekend at a 5 star resort…. I’d recommend it for sure! It was fun getting away. We ended the weekend with a BBQ at mom and dad’s with Jac and Jared. It was great. Yummy food, laying out, bad mitten (however you spell that) and great weather! Lots of fun! I am in vacation mode and hope we go to Mexico this weekend…pray for good weather.

I think the Baja Cantina was the first place Justin took me out to eat. Isn't it delicious? Sounds like a nice, relaxing weekend. I miss PC.
Way good deal. Glad you could still do something fun.
Good luck with Mexico! My cousin had a cruise in Mexico and it got re-routed to Oregon and Canada. Yikes!
That's sounds like a fun getaway and the price... you are a little bargainer!
What a fun weekend but a bummer you didn't make it to Mexico. We love Baja, we always eat there when we go to Park City.
You know who I would love to see in a high pressure sales pitch, Trevor. He always says the best stuff just like when he used to call qvc and talk to the telephone people. That was soooooo funny. I need to go to the hotel. Sweet deal25 bucks. Cant beat that.
